Black is beautiful – and saves energy

Simple idea. Brilliant timing. The next time you need to undertake some “research”, avoid going to Google. Go, instead, to Google’s environment conscious sibling, Blackle.

Just wanted to know for how many days are r using Blackle.. Since Just trying to read 'about Blackle' of white font in black background made my eyes feel uneasy.. (i.e. if i continue using it, i felt like having a headache..).. Just wanted to know whether how are others are feeling about the white font in black background. (though it saves energy)...

I couldn't agree more. Any website which is built on a black background is sure fire trigger for a migraine

Some people may find it uncomfortable reading light text on a black background. They might find Greygle to be a better choice for them. It uses a grey background with dark text which they might find easier to read. This still allows for some energy savings while providing an easier reading experience.
